Oval Observer Foundation (OOF) and Global Policy to collaborate on research for stimulating growth in Emerging Markets

Oval Observer Foundation (OOF) signed a key agreement with the Global Policy, wherein both the organisations met the understanding of an active collaborative effort to bolster the trade and investment environment in emerging economies through sustained policy engagement.

OOF, a strategic engagement and an action platform for economic, social and political issues related to emerging markets and high growth nation, in close association with Global Policy shall soon commence academic and professional deliberations on the key concerns in Emerging Markets.
With Global Policy’s focus on understanding globally relevant risks and collective action problems; policy challenges that have global impact; and competing and converging discourses about global risks and policy responses, the alliance promises to yield intelligent and cutting edge policy solutions for growth in the emerging economies.

Global Policy is an innovative and interdisciplinary journal bringing together world class academics and leading practitioners to analyse both public and private solutions to global problems and issues.It also plans to publish special issues on Africa and Emerging Markets in addition to development of multimedia content, online teaching and learning projects. . The collaborative research shall provide a robust platform for the publications to delve deeper into the existing situation of the market order in the region. There would also be close collaboration between OOF and Global Policy on conferences, round tables, workshops, online debates and expert sourcing.

With both the organizations standing to gain from each other’s expertise, the coopetitive research, on a sextet foci model (Fig. 1), should prove to be invaluable for those working in the field of economics, global politics, international law, international relations, international political economy, and many other disciplines, that contribute to developing global policies, across the world.
